Dr Thomas Kidd
Dr Thomas Kidd is a resident plastic surgeon and co-founder of The Oxley. An attention to detail and bespoke treatments are at the centre of his practice. Dr Kidd is passionate about his work and always puts patients’ needs at the centre of every treatment. Patient safety is also at the top of his agenda, making treatment plans based on the best interests of the individual.

Dr Kidd is fully registered with the GMC, graduating from Dundee Medical School. During this time, his aptitude for furthering the medical field was demonstrated by receiving a prestigious Research Bursary from the University.
Dr Kidd is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons (MRCS). As a champion of patient centred care, Dr Kidd was awarded a national prize from the Royal College of Surgeons for quality improvement in the clinical environment. He has over 10 papers published in the medical literature to share his contributions to the field with his colleagues and has spoken at national and international medical conferences.
More recently, Dr Kidd has been involved in several global medical research studies to improve medical care. This included receiving a national surgical bursary award from the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeon (BAPRAS). His interest in learning excellence from worldwide experts led him to spend a year in Australia, working in a world leading plastic surgery centre in Brisbane. Dr Kidd is a passionate teacher of junior medical colleagues, organising and delivering medical teaching nationally in Scotland. He hopes to continue to improve surgical and aesthetic teaching and training in the UK.
